RetroSpect software has taken one of the most powerful tools of the Biolog system, the ability to create customised databases and made the process much simpler. MicroPlates provide an extensive data set of individual test information, data labels, and reactions from each isolate. The Omnilog or Microstation systems compare the test results with the species library and store the results. The RetroSpect software module integrates these elements into a powerful package. Data Management filters enable users to define the content of the databases and generate specialised reports.

Graphing Function
Users can now get a retrospective view of specific periods of time, to see the incidences of different species in their environment.

Popup Feature
The Graphing function combined with the Popup feature allows the user to select subsets of their data and look at organisms that appear in different locations.
