The big breakthrough in Biolog’s latest identification system is the new redox chemistry which enables testing of gram negative and gram positive bacteria in the same test panel. Gram stains and other pre-tests are no longer needed to carry out the identification. Setup and stock inventory could not be simpler. The new expanded Biolog database is designed to meet the needs of Biolog’s broad customer base covering diverse disciplines of microbiology. 

The technology is available on multiple platforms catering for different budgets and throughputs. Existing Biolog customers are able to upgrade their software to take advantage of the new system.
